The session can reach the workshop
If the motorcycle supplies coolant temperature, your mechanic can watch how it develops during a longer run. Position and lap times help them follow the outing, while the other available channels show more of what the bike is doing. The first review can begin with readings they have seen, alongside your account from the saddle.
At their end, a browser on a phone, tablet or laptop is enough. You start Live View in Pulse on Android or iPhone and grant access; both sides need an internet connection. Mobile data on the recording phone and the workshop network are one possible arrangement.
The panel shows current telemetry snapshots, with the age of a reading indicating how recent it is. That distinction matters when reception drops. Live View does not need an onboard camera.
Match the recording to the question
Phone GPS and motion sensors provide the starting point. A compatible external GPS can improve the position trace. For engine readings, a compatible Bluetooth LE OBD adapter is needed, and the motorcycle must supply the channels you want to review.
For a question about temperature, check that the relevant reading is available from your bike and adapter before the outing. The compatibility table explains the tested combinations and connection requirements.
The mechanic does not have to watch every minute
There may be another job on the bench while you are on track. Pulse records the ride separately, so a saved session can be shared for review later, even if the mechanic only followed part of it live. The Live View panel itself does not store that recording.
If a reading caught their attention, the saved session lets you examine the surrounding laps when there is time. You can add what you felt on the bike and check whether the same pattern appeared again.
Take part without making the trip
The rider uses Rider Pro and the mechanic a separate free Mechanic account. The Live View guide describes the general arrangement. Access to saved motorcycle records is handled separately in the record-sharing guide.
A workshop commitment can prevent the mechanic from travelling without preventing them from following your session. Live View and a separately shared recording give you a way to involve them in the outing, using the phone you record with and a browser they already have.
